About My Autograph

My Autograph is a simple tool for practicing cursive handwriting — built around the name that matters most to you: your own. Type your first, middle, and last name, and we turn them into a printable tracing worksheet in a cursive font, complete with baseline, x-height, and cap-height guides.

Before diving into your own name, you can practice the alphabet, or warm up by tracing a famous signature from history — from George Washington to Amelia Earhart to Ruth Bader Ginsburg — each paired with a short fun fact about the person behind the pen.

Why we built this

Cursive handwriting is taught less than it used to be, but there are many benefits to learning cursive handwriting — it builds fine motor skills, helps with reading historical documents, and — perhaps most practically — it's how most of us learn to sign our own name. We wanted a fast, printable way to practice that didn't require a full workbook.
